Kayaking around Munising Michigan is just awesome! There are so many places to explore! From the rugged shoreline, sandy beaches, inland lakes, and even a few rivers! There is always a place to get your to kayak in the water! Pictured Rocks and Grand Island are amazing but its not for inexperienced kayakers. There are areas here with share cliffs with no way to get off the water quickly.. Do your research first and it is recommend to use sea kayaks and have the proper equipment. There are kayaking tours available in Munising which will take you out in groups! Not a Kayaker, well there are also boat tours that will take you out to see all the rock formations and this is still one of the best ways to see all of pictured rocks within a day! Enjoy our Michigan's Upper Peninsula! :-)
