Description
Maybe it's because I grew up in the Eastern Upper Peninsula of Michigan and lived here all my life that every time I see the Mackinac Bridge I feel this is my home, this is where I belong, and this is where I want to be. It's always nice to visit other places and it's always nice to cross the gateway back home.
For millions of Michiganders from Upper to Lower Peninsula, we share this feeling of home! Sights like these are unforgettable, and when we live among these beautiful vistas, we may never want to leave. We also have many other beautiful photos from the Lower to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan available.

Congrats on your sale of this magnificent image Norris! I stood in that same spot last year while visiting the area. I love how you framed the trees in front. Well done!

Good capture. Was just up there a few weeks ago. Which side did you get this from?
Norris Seward replied:
Thank you Brian Kurtz! This was taken in the Straits State Park in St. Ignace. I like to say it just might be one of the kind, we went back down there a few months after this shot and all the big dead a dying trees were cut down. But it is still a great place for photos and just enjoying the view!
